Dr. Hudson is actively involved in the screening and detection of oral pathology, which in simple terms indicate any abnormal lesions seen inside the mouth.  Lesions inside our mouth can sometimes be the very first indication of a systemic problem or might also be a sign of the onset of a localized problem.

It is important to examine you mouth periodically for any abnormal looking areas like red/white/lumpy/sore like lesions.  If  you notice any such lesions please bring it to your dentists attention and they will be happy to guide you. 

 

When you come in for an exam, it is likely that your doctor will recommend a biopsy of the lesion.  This is a simple procedure which involves taking a piece of the lesion and examining it under the microscope for an accurate diagnosis.
