Robbinsville Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Financial Policy. Please read our office financial policy and let us know if you have any questions.

• All Copayments are due at the time of service. Your copayments are calculated based on the information we have obtained from your insurance carrier and are estimates until your insurance carrier settles the claim. 

​

• You may be owed a refund by us or owe us a balance, based on what your insurance ultimately pays for. You are responsible for all balances your insurance does not cover.

​

• Insurance coverage: At times your insurance will down code our procedure codes to reduce reimbursements. We do not accept these changes to our billed codes. In such an event you are responsible for the difference between the reimbursed code and the billed code per our contracted rate with your insurance provider. 

​

• OUT OF NETWORK:  If we are out of network with your insurance provider you will be charged out of pocket for services rendered as your insurance will typically pay you directly. We will, however, help you file all the necessary claims.

• Surgical Booking Deposit:  You will be charged a $100 surgical deposit at the time you book your surgery. This is nonrefundable. This money will be applied towards your surgical copay.

• Weekend booking fee:  There is a $50 charge to book a new patient consultation for Saturday appts. This charge is nonrefundable if you fail to show up for your appointment for all reasons. The money will be applied to your surgical treatment needs should you need it.

• Senior/ Veteran discounts: Please ask our front desk for details. These discounts are applicable only to NO INSURANCE patients and will not apply if you are covered by insurance as you are getting a discounted rate based on our contract with your insurance company. The discount also does not apply to Bone grafts, Implants or other cosmetic procedures.

• Professional discounts: These discounts apply only our professional colleagues and their staff members.  They DO NOT apply to any of their family members or friends.

​

• We offer a very high standard of care, cleanliness, and professionalism. We DO NOT offer any other types of discounts based on race/gender or ethnicity so please don’t ask for these concessions.

• We DO NOT offer any in-office payment plans but do accept CARE CREDIT. Please ask our front desk for details to apply.

• Weekend Appointments: We work from 7:00 AM to 10 AM on Saturdays. Our Saturday appointments are for your convenience and are therefore very popular. If you would like to schedule a consultation appointment on Saturday, please make sure you provide all your insurance information to us by the Thursday before so that this information can be verified with your insurance company. If you fail to do so, you will be charged out of pocket for the consultation.
